Linking with business

Use our simulation game to engage with local business. Why not invite the employees of a local firm of accountants or stockbrokers, or managing directors from several firms, to play our games alongside you? It is a great way for your students to network with local companies.

Links with local businesses will give students the chance to apply their knowledge and develop their skills through one to one contact time in college and work placements.

“Dealing Room is beneficial as an enrichment activity as pupils would have no access to something like this otherwise.  We will integrate this in to classroom use, mainly in the data-handling component of the GCSE course (graphs, averages, etc.).”

Dominic McNabb, Maths Teacher, Glengormley High School

“Dealing Room gave students an opportunity to develop their teamwork, problem solving, decision-making and numeracy skills. Well done to all Year 11 students for an excellent Big Learning Day.”
